Laura Calabria is a national security strategist with 20 years of experience in the U.S. Intelligence Community, working at the intersection of intelligence, science and technology, policy, and strategy.

Her career has centered on understanding complex national security challenges, assessing emerging technologies and their implications for U.S. interests, and helping senior government leaders translate those insights into strategy, policy, and action. She brings a deep understanding of how the national security enterprise operates—from intelligence and policy formulation to interagency coordination, technology adoption, funding, and execution.

As Founder of LIVIAN, a national security strategy and advisory firm, Ms. Calabria works with leaders, research institutions, national laboratories, and technology companies navigating the U.S. national security environment. She helps organizations understand how their capabilities align with national priorities, identify the policy and institutional pathways that shape government decisions, and position emerging technologies for mission adoption.

Her background includes senior chief of staff, strategy, and analytic leadership roles across the CIA and ODNI, where she led cross-functional initiatives, established new offices, aligned policy with execution, and authored analysis for audiences ranging from senior military leaders to White House principals.
